Celtic Fest success despite rain
The musical notes sprang from the grounds of Belle Mont Mansion on May 10.
The site hosted the fourth annual Celtic Fest, complete with a number of musical acts, vendors and demonstrations all centered around Celtic tradition.
Though the weather did not always cooperate, and at times showers fell on the festivalgoers, the festival once again saw a good crowd.
“Celtic Fest went great despite the rain,” said Belle Mont Mansion Site Director Laura Everitt. “We had a great turnout, and when we had to move the music inside, it was played on a more personal level.”
Everitt said this year’s event had a smaller turnout than some of the previous years, but the fan base is growing, and she hopes next year’s Celtic Fest is bigger and better than ever.
“We are really excited to keep the event growing,” she said. “We are so grateful to our vendors, performers and everyone who came. We are looking forward to 2026.”
