CCSO arrest reports for Oct. 18

The following arrests were made by the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office in recent days:

— On Sept. 27, John L. Kelsoe, 38, and Rhonda J. Guenther, 54, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Hunter White’s report, he conducted a traffic stop on Allsboro Road in Cherokee. The driver, Kelsoe, was allegedly found to have an active warrant with CCSO. A search of his person yielded a used syringe and a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine. A search of the vehicle yielded a baggie of marijuana, which Guenther claimed. A used cut straw and metal tube containing marijuana residue and a white substance were also located.
