March 28 obituaries

Terry Arnold, 66

Terry Arnold, 66, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Visitation will be Monday, March 23, 2026 from 12-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Eric Swinney will be officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Sheffield Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Debra Arnold; daughter, Taylor Arnold; son Adam Richter (Tracie); grandchildren, Kam and Kase Richter; niece, Tasha Harkins (Joe); and nephew, Zach Perkins (Hannah).

I recently came across a saying, “Nobody has ever measured, even poets, how much a heart can hold.” While this may be true for some this doesn’t completely apply to my father, Terry Arnold.

My dad showed us his heart every day we had with him.

While it was easy to know things like how much he loved Alabama football, dessert, and helping others. It was also clear to see the adoration he had for his family. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors with his grandsons, Kam and Kase. He had an unconditional bond with fur baby Rosie, his grand fur baby Ember, and our beloved Lizzy. As for my mom and me, my dad protected us, provided for us, and nurtured us in many ways. He had the latter covered so well my mom and I often joked about him putting weight on us. I would say that he seemed to sometimes forget that he raised a strong daughter by the way he had to be the one to fix things for me, but that’s just the type of man he was, always quick to help out.

Some of my favorite moments with my dad were the ones when we would dance around the kitchen as a family or singing in the car with the windows down.

My dad would always tell my mom and me how beautiful we were and how much he loved us. My mom’s favorite saying is, “actions speak louder than words.” By his actions, we know he meant every word.

We love you every day. Now we will remember and miss you every day.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Daniel G.

Williams, 73

Daniel G. Williams entered the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 22, 2026, resting fully in the mercy and grace of the One who redeemed him. While those who loved him grieve his absence, they rejoice knowing he has finished his earthly pilgrimage and now beholds the glory of God face to face. Born April 7, 1952 in Rossville, Georgia, Danny lived his life as a faithful testimony to the transforming power of the gospel. He was a devoted brother, a tender and steadfast uncle, and a friend who embodied the quiet assurance of one anchored in the promises of Scripture. His life reflected Micah 6:8 he walked humbly with his God, sought justice, and loved mercy. Danny was a founding member of the Muscle Shoals Bible Church in Muscle Shoals, AL.

Those who knew Danny will remember his gentle spirit, his sacrificial heart, and his unwavering commitment to Christ and His church. He delighted in the Word of God and constantly pointed others to the sufficiency of Christ’s work on the cross. Even in seasons of trial, Daniel’s confidence was not in himself but in the righteousness of Christ alone – a truth he often expressed with calm assurance and joyful hope.

Danny’s family takes comfort in knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

Though the seeds of sorrow are sown today, they look forward to that blessed day of resurrection when all who are in Christ shall be raised in glory.
