Stephen Harold Foster, 53

Stephen Foster, 53, of Tuscumbia, AL, passed away on Saturday May 23, 2026. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 4-5 at Colbert Me­morial Chapel with a Me­morial Service to follow.

Stephen was a son, brother, friend, H-D tech­nician, drag racer, and an avid deer hunter. He was also a giver, donating deer meat to families in need. He also drag raced all over the country. Ste­phens most honorable gift was the gift of becom­ing an organ donor. His legacy lives on as a hero helping others in his final act of kindness. Stephen will be missed by many.

He is survived by his father, Harold Foster; mother, Mae Foster; sis­ter’s, Sharon Garrison (Doug) and Janet Foster Overton (Don); brother, Darryl Foster (Aman­da); nephews and nieces, Heath Davis (Whitney), Aaron Davis (Chloe), Kody Davis (Corey), Will Nelson, and Eric Garrison (Krystal); along with a host of family and friends.

Ronald Joe Gasque, 76

Ronald Joe Gasque, 76, of Russellville, AL died on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Visitation will be Thurs­day, May 21, 2026 from 5-7 at Colbert Memorial Chapel. A service will be on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2 pm in Colbert Memo­rial Chapel. Bro. Ricky Robins and Bro. Terry Bendall will be officiat­ing. Burial will be in Col­bert Memorial Gardens.

He was a member of New LaGrange Mission­ary Baptist Church. He also was a former pas­tor to several Baptist Churches throughout his life. Ronald faithfully served his country in the United States Navy for eight years. He was sta­tioned aboard the USS Edward McDonnell. Ron­ald was a devoted toma­to farmer. He was also a member of Washing­ton Lodge 36 F. & A.M.

He was preceded in death by his par­ents, Joe and Jeannette Gasque; daughter Don­na Jo Gasque; brother, Danny Lee Gasque; sis­ter, Mary Jane Michael.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years. Len­da Kimbrough Gasque; son Andrew Gasque (Bo­nita); daughter, Rhon­da Davis (Matt); broth­er John Wayne Gasque; sister, Peggy Houston; grandchildren, Bre­Anna Rodgers (Trey), Bethany Holt (Patrick), Addison Waldrep (Fos­ter), Evan Davis, Leah Davis; great grandchil­dren, Rowan Waldrep, Colson Holt; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Matt Davis, Evan Da­vis, Trey Rodgers, Patrick Holt, Foster Waldrep, Gary Quinn.

A special thanks to Aaron Hicks who is as close as family, also to Jasmine, Alena and Mary with Alabama Hospice. Also, to Bethsaida and LaGrange communi­ty for all your love and care that was given.

Emmons

Newton, 73

Kathleen “Kathy” Em­mons Newton, age 73, passed away peaceful­ly on May 12, 2026, in Easley, South Caroli­na. Kathy was born in Sheffield, Alabama, to Paul Hayze Emmons and Florene “Flo” Wilson.

Kathy was a devot­ed wife, mother, grand­mother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was her family. She was mar­ried to the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Newton, on April 13, 1974, and they shared many happy years together until his passing on June 9, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Ni­cole Mitchem, in 2021.

She is survived by her daughter, Janine Sutter and husband Trey; her son, Bobby Newton and wife Amy; her broth­er, Paul Emmons and wife Barbara; and her beloved grandchildren, Dale Sutter, Jordan Sut­ter, Riley Mitchem, Leah Mitchem, Aidan Mitchem, Taylor Mitchem, Spen­cer Newton, and Sean Newton. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended fam­ily members, and friends who loved her dearly.

In her younger years, Kathy proudly served her community as an EMT with the Lorton Volunteer Fire Department in Lorton, Virginia. She had a life­long love of reading and was a woman of faith who was of the Baptist faith. Above all else, Kathy treasured being a mother and once said, “I want to be remembered as a good mother above anything else. That’s always been my most important and proud accomplishment.”

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Colbert Memo­rial Funeral Home. Vis­itation will be held pri­or to the service from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

The family finds comfort in her favorite scripture, John 14:1-6:

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Kathy’s love, strength, and devotion to her fami­ly will never be forgotten.

Jamie Todd Sizemore, 51

Jamie Todd Sizemore of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 51. He was born on Jan­uary 29, 1975, to Roy and Donna Sizemore.

Todd was a graduate of Cherokee High School where he played base­ball and formed many lifelong friendships. His childhood home was of­ten the gathering place for pick-up basketball games and team pool parties. He continued his base­ball career at Itawamba Community College and Northwest Shoals Com­munity College before be­ginning his career at Nor­folk Southern Railroad.

Todd worked for 31 injury-free years as a railroad Engineer and Conductor. He was elect­ed by his peers to serve as Local Chairman of the Brotherhood of Lo­comotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) Di­vision 423 for twelve years. He also served as Secretary-Treasurer, First Vice Chairman, and most recently Chairman of the BLET Alabama State Legislative Board.

Todd was deeply com­mitted to the workers he represented and did all he could to support them throughout their ca­reers. He worked to ad­vocate for railroad safe­ty regulations to help protect railroad workers and was a friend to all who needed his counsel.

Todd married Kim on June 22, 2002, and to­gether they shared 23 wonderful years of mar­riage. Together they en­joyed traveling, meals with friends, and most importantly, time with their daughter Abbie.

Abbie was the bright light for Todd and he made sure she never lacked anything. He loved shar­ing her accomplishments with friends, whether that be on the sideline of a game or making the Pres­ident’s list at the Univer­sity of North Alabama.

He enjoyed fishing, watching football, and time with the people he loved. One of the high­lights of each year was the annual fishing trip to Elliot’s Branch at Lit­tle Bear Creek with his dad and close friends. He loved to cook for a crowd and made sure those he loved had all they needed.

Todd was steady and deeply loyal in every role he played in his life. He loved a good nick­name for his buddies and Sunday lunches with his family. He always had a story to share, a smile on his face, and a laugh that was contagious to everyone around him.

Todd attended Launch Point Church and was a member of Barton First Baptist Church.

Todd is preceded in death by his father, Roy; mother-in-law, Sharon Chaney; and grandparents, Christine and Howard Wallace and Pearlie Lind­sey and Lecil Sizemore. Todd is survived by his wife, Kim; daughter, Ab­bie; mother, Donna; sister, Courtney; father-in-law Roger Chaney; and many beloved family members and friends who will miss his presence in their lives.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 25 at 1:00 at Barton First Baptist. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 at the church with a grave­side service following at Barton Cemetery. Pall­bearers are Matt Franks, Brent Harrell, Terry Mashburn, Jay Parker, Michael Patton, Robert Timmons, Keith Woods and Blake Worsham and honorary pall bearers Bill Hutton, Tommy Pound­ers, and Mike Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, do­nations may be made in Todd’s honor to the Va n d e r b i l t – I n g r am Cancer Center for co­lon cancer research.

Mary Jane Craft Willingham, 78

Mary Jane “Craft” Will­ingham, age 78, of Shef­field, Alabama passed away May 21, 2026, at her home. She was a faithful Christian, loving mother, devoted “Nanny”, a good friend to many, always looking for an opportuni­ty to brighten someone’s day. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Tuscumbia Church of Christ and a former member of the Cherokee Church of Christ, where she was involved in var­ious ministries including VBS, children’s ministry, cookie ministry, and coor­dinating teas and showers.

She was raised in Mus­cle Shoals by Onzie and Janie, alongside her sister Shirley, her best friend. She attended Deshler High School where she was a majorette and participat­ed in social club activi­ties. She married her high school sweetheart, Dew­ey, and together they built a loving home in Cher­okee, raising their two children. She was very active in the community, involved with the Study Club, library, girl scouts, and a beloved “homeroom mom”. She worked in the Colbert County School System, serving at various schools and later retired from Colbert Heights High School as the com­puter lab facilitator.

Later she and her hus­band moved to Sheffield where they enjoyed their retirement years. She was a talented seamstress who lovingly sewed for her grandchildren. Her kitch­en was always filled with warmth, good food, and laughter. Whether cook­ing for her family, her friends, or her church, she gave from the heart. Her words of encouragement, thoughtful cards, and quiet generosity touched countless lives. She loved spending time with her family in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey; parents, Janie and Onzie Craft; sister Shirley Blumer; brother-in-law Ray Blumer; and sister-in-law Victoria Willingham.

She is survived by her son Mark Willingham (Janet); daughter Lisa Wilson (Russ); grandchil­dren Thomas Willingham (Chelsea), Olivia Hayes (Nickolai), Emily Wil­son (engaged Nolan), and Jack Wilson (Annalaura).

Visitation will be Tues­day, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Morrison Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, 12:00 PM, at Morrison Funer­al Home, with viewing at 11:00. Burial will fol­low at Guy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Willingham, Jack Wilson, Nicko­lai Hayes, John Burton, Phillip Burton, and Greg Hildreth. Honorary pall­bearers are Matthew Park­er, Clint Blankenship, and Nolan Rebernick.

Charles Ricky Fuller, II, 56

Charles Ricky Fuller, II, 56, of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Ricky enjoyed life, camping, horseback rid­ing, and taking out his sailboat on the water. He is preceded in death by his father; Ricky Fuller, Sr.

Ricky is survived by his son; Brody Fuller (Anna Kate); mother, Ruby Pearl Fuller; granddaugh­ters, Linley & Addison Fuller; brother, Barry Fuller (Cheryl); and spe­cial cousin, Judy Rivers.

No funeral arrangements are scheduled at this time.

Robbie Sue Green, 68

Robbie Sue Green, 68, of Muscle Shoals, passed away, Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Visitation will be Friday, May 22, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be Saturday, May 23, 2026, in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 A.M with Tommy Heaps officiating. Burial will be at Canaan Method­ist Church Cemetery.

She was a loving and devoted mother and Gigi to her grandbabies. One of her favorite things was being at the beach. Robbie is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucille Gann; infant twin brothers.

Robbie is survived by her sons Cody Green ( Brylee) and Ken­neth C. Green; brother, Robert “Buddy” Gann; sister, Shirley Talley (Claude); grandchil­dren, Tucker, Tidus, and Emilia Green; host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Wen­dall Irons, Gary Irons, Jor­dan West, Eric West, Jus­tin Smith, and Curt Berry.

Roy Gene

Rogers, 65

Roy Gene Rogers, 65, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026. Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. with the funeral service imme­diately following in the funeral home chapel. Jere­my Sanderson will offici­ate the service. The burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Tuscumbia.

Roy was a native and lifelong resident of Col­bert County, was an HVAC Technician, and loved Alabama Football and Firearms. He was a member of Westside Bap­tist Church in Tuscumbia.

Roy was preced­ed in death by his par­ents, I.C. and Margaret Irene Rogers and sis­ter, Angie Wilbanks.

He is survived by his children, Mitch (Julie), Joe (Emily), Josh (Eliza­beth), Amee (Blair), and Matt (Sarah); brothers, Leonard Rogers (Eliza­beth), Jimmy Rogers (De­nise), and Charles Rog­ers (Jo); sisters, Mildred Brewer (Johnny) and Lynn Crowden (Scott); eighteen grandchildren who affec­tionately called him “Pop­py”; and bonus children, Devin Battles (Micah) and Jamie Jones (Ericka).

His sons, Mitch, Joe, Josh, and Matt and nephews, Ryan and An­drew Crowden will serve as pallbearers.

Nannette Diggle Smith, 83

Nannette (Nan) Diggle Smith, beloved wife and mother, passed peace­fully to her eternal re­ward on May 17, 2026, in Katy, Texas, surround­ed by family members.

Nan was born in Tus­cumbia Alabama, August 10, 1942, to Frederick James Diggle and Leona Muenzenberger Diggle. She graduated from Desh­ler High School in.1960 and married William Earl “Buster” Smith April 4, 1964. She and Buster are the parents of 4 chil­dren. She spent most of her life in Muscle Shoals, and moved to Katy, Tex­as in 2023 due to her and Buster’s declining health.

Nan is remembered as a friendly, generous wom­an, who loved her family fiercely, and treasured her animal companions. She was talented in many ar­eas, including painting, drawing, needlework, sewing, singing, and playing piano and organ. She also enjoyed listen­ing to music, cooking, and shopping to buy gifts for her children, grand­children, and her numer­ous nieces and nephews.

Even when she was suf­fering illness and pain, she always asked visitors how they were doing and tried to share love with them by looking for some­thing to give them. This included medical staff and doctors, as well as fami­ly members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Ma­rie Woodis, Diane Holt, and Eleanor Hovater. Her brother Fred Diggle lives in Birmingham, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband, Buster, 4 chil­dren, Brackin (Patti), Car­rie Latham (Daryl), Jeff, and Chris (Michael Burl­ingame), 7 grandchildren, Isaiah Smith (Rebecca), Melanie Latham, Alec Smith (Raquel), Abby Latham (Emily Adams), Kyle Smith (Erin), Ben­jamin Latham, and Rose Smith-Burlingame. and 8 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 22, 10am at St. Bar­tholomew the Apostle Catholic Church in Katy, Texas. Burial will follow in June at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church in Tuscumbia, Alabama.
