Cagle, 58

Teresa Ann Cagle, 58, Tuscumbia, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The visitation will be held on Sunday, Febru­ary 8, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will im­mediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Dwight Rivers officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Teresa was preceded in death by her children, Jer­ilyn Cagle and Bradley Terrell; and brother, Ju­nior Ray Smallwood; and father, Finis Smallwood.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Cagle; chil­dren, Brandy Noe (Cody), Breanna Terrell, Melissa Adderholt (Dustin), and Andy Cagle; mother, Polly Smallwood; sister, Mar­gie McCaig (Steve); and grandchildren, Logan Noe, Raquael Welch, Mason Ter­rell, Kingston Noe, Natalie Cagle, and Alana Cagle.

Pallbearers will be Mi­chael McCaig, Daryan McCaig, Landon Jones, Logan Noe, Michael Terrell, and Shane Du­puy. Mason Terrell and Kingston Noe will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Tommy Lynn

Atkisson, 59

Tommy Lynn Atkis­son, 59, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Wednes­day, February 4, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Tommy was an em­ployee of Foundry of the Shoals, working there for seventeen years until they closed. He enjoyed sitting and watching Al­abama Football and Dale Earnhart Jr. and drinking Busch Beer. Tommy espe­cially loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Heath Atkisson; father, Roy At­kisson; mother, Loretta Smith; brother, Jeff Atkis­son; and infant twin sisters.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife of seven­teen years, Tammy At­kisson; children, Ashley Anderson (Carlos) and Brittany Brewer; brother, Dennis Atkisson; sister, Lori McBrayer (Bobby); grandchildren, Gracelynn Atkisson, Jacob Ivey, Sky­lar Brewer, Tynyia Luna (Elvin), Kabruim Stewart, Reighgan Petty, George Petty, Caden Brewer, Bob­by Singh, Emma Trous­dale, and Landon Trous­dale; great-granddaughter, Ma’Lani Luna; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family offers spe­cial thanks to the nurs­ing staff at North Ala­bama Medical Center.

Janice Ann

Jacobson, 85

Janice Ann Jacobson, 85, of Florence, passed away on Monday, Febru­ary 2, 2026. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7, at First Church of the Naza­rene, Florence, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Marga­ret Crawford officiating.

Janice spent most of her life in California, moving to the Shoals area in 2005. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Florence. She was preced­ed in death by her husband, Leslie Michael Jacobson.

Janice is survived by her children, Michael Jacobson, Kimberly Strader, and Matthew Ja­cobson; grandchildren, Brittanie Rivera, Daniel Strader, and Kyle Strader; and great-grandchildren, Shaun, Chris, and Braydon.

Tonja Shane Miller

Hampton, 58

Tonja Shane Miller Hampton, 58, Russellville, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Visita­tion will be on Monday, February 9, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Morrison Fu­neral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with John Brock officiating.

Tonja was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grand­mother, and aunt. She was an avid lover of literature and the arts, photography, and music. However, her greatest love was her fam­ily. Her beautiful singing voice and infectious laugh­ter will be remembered by all who were graced to be in her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and had the privilege to be loved by her. Tonja was preceded in death by her father, Billy R. Miller; mother, Wanda Willis Mill­er; grandmother, Phares Hester; grandparents, O’Neal and Beulah Willis.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick Wayne Hampton; daughter, Bran­di Lynn Miller Croy Pen­nington and her husband Jesse Pennington; sister, Bridgett Johnson; grand­children, Lily Shane Lu­cille Pennington, Willow Pennington, Patrick Pen­nington, and Oliver Pen­nington; and a host of ex­tended family members.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Hampton, Jesse Pennington, Brady John­son, and Bobby Leop­ard. Ricky Hester, Sam Johnson, Jimmy Croy, and Jake Higgs will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Ronal Neil

Ross, 84

Ronal Neil Ross, 84, of Florence, transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly home on Thurs­day, February 5, 2026. A reception for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 11, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel. Inter­ment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Ron was a graduate of Deshler High School and a member of Wood Ave­nue Church of Christ in Florence. He was a veteran of both the US Army and the National Guard and worked as an engineer for thirty-four years with Nor­folk Southern Railroad. An avid golfer, Ron worked as a marshal with Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and played as often as he could. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Beth Ross Screven; infant daughter, Falena Annette Ross; and best friend, Dr. Randy Strait, of Florida.

Ron is survived by his wife, Doris Ann Ross; son and best friend, Christo­pher Joseph Ross; grand­children, Chandler Joseph Ross and Olivia Kate Ross; and sister, Carol Meador.

Deborah Delita King, 75

Deborah Delita King, 75, of Muscle Shoals, AL passed away on January 29, 2026. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 12-2 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow at 2 pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Deborah loved to travel and shop. Her generosi­ty was one of her defin­ing qualities. She gave without hesitation and was always ready to help. Above all though, she cher­ished spending time with her family. Deborah was happiest when surround­ed by those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.B. Wes­son and Gertrude Wesson; and husband, Jerry King.

She is survived by her daughters, Hope Mang­um and Holly Boyd (Jus­tin); grandchildren, Sloan Kirby (Devinn), Mick Mangum, Jack Mangum, Hunter Ibanez (Alejan­dro), and Brennan King; great grandchildren, Aiden Kirby and Cullen Kirby; brother, Steve Wesson; and boyfriend, Phil Gabhart.

Pallbearers will be Jack Mangum, Aiden Kirby, Cullen Kirby, Justin Boyd, Jason Clemons, and Devinn Kirby. Honorary pallbear­ers will be Phil Gabhart.

Patricia Lynn

Embry, 74

Patricia Lynn (Trish) Embry, age 74, Birming­ham, Alabama (formally from Florence, Alabama), passed away peaceful­ly on February 7th from injuries sustained in a series of recent falls.

Trish was born August 19th, 1951, in Haleyville, Alabama, to Thurman Har­old Huddleston (deceased) and Euphenia Foster Gil­bert (deceased). She was married to Tom Embry for ten years (deceased). Trish was also preceded by in death by her son Nathan Bevis. She is survived by her son Adam Bevis, grand­children Luke, Warren, and Alah Bevis, and brothers Paul and Mark Huddleston.

She worked for Pioneer Life Insurance Company helping individuals and families successfully plan for their financial future, but her real passion lay with her Cox Boulevard Church of Christ family where she regularly volunteered help­ing those in need and took part in many missionary door knocking campaigns spreading the gospel.

Those who knew her know that her faith was in God, a strong love and bond to her family, and her proud reliance on Miss Clairol.

Visitation will be Tues­day, February 10 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Mor­rison Funeral Home, Tus­cumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Oak­wood Cemetery, Sheffield.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Herston, Warren Herston, Bo Gooch, Brent Bul­man, Mark Huddleston, and Paul Huddleston.

Hilda Virginia

Bradford, 93

Hilda Virginia Brad­ford, 93, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 11, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Woodward Avenue Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals. The fu­neral service will imme­diately follow with Tyler Armstrong officiating. A private Interment ser­vice will be for the fam­ily at Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia.

Hilda was a member of Woodward Avenue Bap­tist Church, teaching Sun­day School for forty-two years. She attended Lar­more Business College for three years. Having a heart for helping oth­ers, she was a faithful worker for the Salvation Army. Hilda was the owner of Shoals Variety for forty-three years. Her servant’s heart was evi­dent in her work there as well. She had a passion for helping brides plan their weddings and en­joyed making each event the best that it could be. During that time, Pat Gar­gis began working for her. Hilda became a mentor to Pat, and they enjoyed a close friendship and working relationship for many years. Hilda was preceded in death by her parents, Pruitt and Clara Terry; sisters, Dorothy Caudell and Sara Condra; and brothers, Billy Joe Terry and Donnie Terry.

Hilda is survived by her husband, Bill Brad­ford; sons, Billy Pruitt Bradford (Linda) and Roger Bradford (Deb­bie); sister, Carolyn Terry Thrasher; grandchildren, Ali Bradford (Keenan), Coulton Bradford (Carli), Davis Bradford (Page), and Ben Bradford (Ol­ivia); and great-grand­children, Boston, Row­dy, Noah, and Addie.

Pallbearers will be Michael Bradford, Jeff Bradford, Tony Wil­son, Coulton Brad­ford, Ben Bradford, and Davis Bradford.

The family gratefully acknowledges the kind and compassionate care­giving from Courtney Hall and the staff of Hos­pice of North Alabama.

Ingram, 86

Ms. Luvenia Andrews Ingram was born May 25, 1939 to the late Mr. John Ester and Frances Andrews in Florence, Alabama.

She departed this life Tuesday, February 4, 2026, at Helen Keller Hospital.

She attended Bur­rell Slater School.

Luvenia retired from Bank Independent hav­ing served the Shoals area for many years.

She is survived by her children, Kimberly An­drews, Sheffield, AL, and Darryl Simpson, Lima, OH; sisters: Dr. Laura Mae (Dale) Thompson, Cher­okee, AL, Ada Reeder, Fayetteville, TN; broth­ers: Henderson Andrews, Dallas Fort Worth, TX; eight grandchildren: Jarvis Andrews, Muscle Shoals, AL, LaDonna Andrews, Sheffield, AL, Marcus Andrews, Sheffield, AL, Taletha Goodman, Shef­field, AL, Shiance An­drews, Sheffield, AL, Tor­ron Cole, Sheffield, AL, Demarius Andrews, Wich­itaw, KS, Xavier Kirkman, Florence, AL; seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, neph­ews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her children LaBarron Andrews, Dexter Andrews, and Chiquita Andrews as well as seven siblings.

Gwendolyn Anne Pride, 76

Gwendolyn Anne Pride, age 76, entered into eter­nal rest on February 1, 2026; received into the grace of the Lord she loved and faithfully served.

Her life was marked by Christian faith, persever­ance, and extraordinary generosity toward others.

She was baptized at Cherokee Church of Christ and served as a Sunday school teacher, loving her brothers and sisters in Christ with compassion and sincerity. Her faith was lived daily through kind­ness, giving, and service.

Raised by her grand­parents, Oscar and Mollie Sullivan, she carried their values of strength and sta­bility throughout her life. A graduate of Cherokee High School during seg­regation, she later fulfilled a lifelong goal by earning her bachelor’s degree in her 50s, reflecting her de­termination and resilience.

She was known for a generosity that was tru­ly lived — if she saw a need, she responded. Giv­ing came naturally to her and reflected the love of Christ she held in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Fannie Fant; her beloved sibling, Lucille Hardin; her niece Juani­ta Hardin; several aunts and uncles; and the grand­parents who raised her.

She loved her fami­ly deeply especially her grandchildren Jennifer Wil­liams, Nickolas Long, both of Lawrenceville, GA; great grandchildren, Jordyn Wil­liams, Lawrenceville, GA, and Jada Boyd, Dahlone­ga, GA. In her final season, she was cared for with de­voted love by her daugh­ter, Ne’Oshuna Q. Pride.

She is survived by her husband James Ar­thur Pride; her daughters, Ne’Oshuna Quadrale Pride, Tuscumbia, AL, and Dahlia Nichole Long (Mickey), Lawrenceville, GA; cher­ished aunts, Flora South­ern, Julia McKay, Annie Pearl, and Lula Goodloe; one niece, Linda Hardin; two nephews, Tracey Har­din and Larry Hardin, many extended family, and her church family and friends.

Martin Leon Tubbs, 69

Martin Leon Tubbs, 69, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, Feb­ruary 4, 2026. No services will be held at this time.

Martin was a native of Colbert County and a re­tired painter with Simpson’s Body Shop. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, Gerald and Elizabeth Tubbs; and brothers, Tony Tubbs and Randy Tubbs.

Martin is survived by his wife, Judy Tubbs; chil­dren, Felicia Tubbs Wil­lis and Edward “Chuck” Tubbs; sisters, Esther Hipps (Chris) and Vickie Pierson; and several nieces.

Martin was loved and will be dearly missed.
