Aug. 16 arrest reports
The following arrests were made by the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office in recent days:
— On Aug. 3, Angela L. Tigner, 36, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Eric J. Lovelace, 43, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kayla T. Prince, 29, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs, promoting prison contraband and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Christopher Miller’s report, after making a traffic stop on Cave Street, he recognized passenger Tigner, who allegedly had warrants. Tigner said there was a “bowl” in the vehicle. A search of Lovelace’s person yielded several yellow capsule pills consistent with gabapentin. A small purple rock-like substance was also found. Some of the same substance, later identified as fentanyl, was discovered crushed into the floorboard. A search of the vehicle yielded a loaded handgun, multiple syringes, a large quantity of gabapentin and other paraphernalia.
— On July 29, Shea L. Ogletree, 37, was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication. According to Deputy Christopher Miller’s report, he was dispatched to the 100 block of Shenandoah Street in Cherokee for a welfare check. Ogletree was on scene allegedly exhibiting altered mental status. Ogletree had multiple warrants with Cherokee Police Department. She handed over two small baggies that contained methamphetamine and a baggie of marijuana.
— On July 29, Jacob L. Stricklin, 40, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. According to deputy Hunter White, he made a traffic stop on U.S. 72 for alleged improper lane usage. The driver, Stricklin, had felony warrants with CCSO. A search of his person yielded 8 Suboxone packages
