Daniel Edward Durham, 49

Daniel Edward Durham, Age 49 passed away to his eternal home Sat­urday, June 21, 2025.

He was born May 7, 1976 to J. W. Sr, and Ann Durham. Daniel enjoyed fishing play­ing a good hand of tank and rummy. He also loved work­ing on vehicles. He how­ever loved spending time with his family more than anything. Daniel worked as an auto glass technician at Savannah Glass for 20 years. To know Daniel, was to love him. He was always humble, and finding ways to aggravate someone by being silly. Dnaiel was a wonder­ful son, brother, and daddy. His boys Logan and Hunter were his biggest blessing.

A memorial service will be held July 6, 2025 at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, at 2:00 P.M. with broth­er James Seen officiating.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father J.W. Durham, Sr; best friend and brother, J.W. (Bubba) Durham, Jr; grandparents, Buford and Gladys Durham, and Ray­mond and Evelyn miller.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Logan and Hunt­er Durham; mother, Ann Durham; sister, Donna Maschke (Richard), niec­es, Lauren Butler (Cody), Kristy Durham, And Angel Quevas; nephews, Dako­ta Munger, Devin, Tyler, and Jayden Durham; great nieces, Kingsleigh, Blakely, Katy, Marlee Butler Khloe and Ellie Durham; moth­er of his children, Alicia.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Church of Christ at Macedonia or Falkville Nursing and Re­hab. A very special thank you to Falkville Nursing and Rehab for the care that was given to our dad.

Amy Suzanne Watkins, 42

Amy Suzanne Wat­kins, 42, Sheffield, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 1, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Mor­rison Funeral Home, Tus­cumbia. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 1, in the funeral home chap­el, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Ronnie Poag and Dwight Holley officiating.

Amy was a lifelong resi­dent of the shoals. She was a member of Faith Church, Florence. Amy also loved to work with flowers. She is survived by her parents, Danny and Paula Watkins; brother, Daniel Watkins (Kim); aunts, Diane Bevis, Lynn Bevis (Johnny), and Rhonda Carter (Steve); un­cle, Jeff Risner (Charlotte); nieces, Avery Danielow­itz (Kirk) and Peyton Long (Tanner); nephew, Evan Wat­kins (Sierra); great-niece, Mina Long; great-nephew, Levi Long; and special cousins, Kelli Bailey (Da­vid), Billy White, Jeffrey Risner, Mary Beth Dalton, Michael Spencer (Wendy), and Michelle Anglin (Scott).

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Ruby Watkins and Rob­ert and Gladys Risner; aunt and uncle, Jim and Shirley Spencer; uncle, Mike Ris­ner; and cousins, Blake Bev­is, Patrick Bevis, Christo­pher Hill, and Christy Hill.

Bobbie Jean Smith, 82

Bobbie Jean Smith, 82, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The fu­neral service will immedi­ately follow in the funeral home chapel with Tom Mar­tin and Roland Hargrove of­ficiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Leighton.

A native and lifelong res­ident of Colbert County, Bobbie was a member of Nitrate City Church of the Nazarene. She was a lov­ing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and was affectionately known as “Mawmaw” to everyone. Bobbie retired from Helen Keller Hospi­tal as a laundry supervisor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Smith; son, Michael Smith; great-grandson, Haithan Burkett; parents, Lee and Pauline Aday; brother, Hu­bert Aday; and sisters, Lou Baker and Evonne Borden.

Bobbie is survived by her sons, Danny Smith and Tony Smith; daughter-in-law, Cammie Smith; broth­ers, Floyd Aday, Calvin Aday (Kay), and Mac Aday (Carolyn); sister, Dean Williams; grandchildren, Andrea, Samantha, Riley (Lindsey), Kalee, Hannah, Austin, James, and Westin; great-grandchildren, Kay­lyn, Kinsley, Miles, and Arabella; special niece, Kay Jones; and special nephew, William Parker.

Pallbearers will be Austin Smith, James Smith, Westin Smith, Riley Smith, Tra­vis Parker, and Zach Aday.

The family offers spe­cial thanks to hospice caregivers, Amanda Stan­field and Misty “Littlebit”.

Howard “Roy” LeRoy

Knight, 89

Howard “Roy” LeRoy Knight, age 89, of Shef­field, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on June 28, 2025, of natural causes. Roy was born in Mecca, Ohio, on May 20, 1936, to Howard and Ber­nice (Baldwin) Knight.

A man of faith, Roy was baptized on August 28, 1954, and was a member of the Sheffield, Alabama congre­gation of Jehovah’s Witness­es. Roy dedicated his retire­ment to teaching others as a full-time minister about Je­hovah and his future hope of a resurrection and living for­ever on the earth in paradise.

Roy is survived by his wife Martha Jane (Brady) of 68 years. They were married on November 3, 1956, in Greene, Ohio.

Roy retired after over 30 years of employ­ment from General Mo­tors, Lordstown, Ohio.

Roy took great pride in guiding friends and family through his spiritual heri­tage heirlooms that he kept within the house and loved to share his personal experi­ences. When he was young­er, Roy was a threat on the basketball court. In his lat­er years he enjoyed watch­ing the Cavaliers, Browns, and Guardians on T.V. He was a great grounds over­seer making sure the lawn looked its best every week.

In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by his daughters Corinne (Jeffrey) Rogers, Amber (Mark) Bu­choltz, Stephanie (Arthur) Adams, and Sarah (Philip) Flanigan; grandchildren Dustin (Nicole) Rogers, Adam (Eden) Bucholtz, An­drew (Melissa) Bucholtz, Lauren Bucholtz, Noah Bu­choltz, Sophia (Manuel) Garcia, Hannah Ruple, and Yesenia Adams; great grand­children Evan Bucholtz, Carson Bucholtz, Oakleigh Bucholtz, and Miles Gar­cia; sister Ruth DiGiacobbe and many nieces and neph­ews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan DelVecchio, his parents, and his brothers Karl, Harold, Ernest, and Donald Knight.

An in-person memorial service will be held on Sat­urday, July 12th at 3 p.m. C.S.T. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1405 S Tennessee St., Tus­cumbia, AL. Family is avail­able to provide Zoom infor­mation for those that need to attend virtually. Donations can be made to Enhabit Hospice of Muscle Shoals, Alabama or JW.ORG.

Janice Leigh Agee

Parrish, 72

It is with deep sadness that we announce the pass­ing of Janice “Jan” Leigh Agee Parrish, who passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Jan was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. Born in Sheffield, AL on March 27, 1953, she was known for her love of her kids and grandkids. She loved everything that involved them. Especially cheering on a sporting event. She dedicated her life to her family, always welcom­ing with a warm embrace and unwavering support.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hel­en Provencher, Richard, and Betty Agee; Her broth­ers Danny Haddock and Therman Agee; nephew Brent Rhodes; Brothers in law William and Jer­ry Parrish, Dwight Jef­feries and James Smith; sister in law, Carol Smith.

She is survived by her hus­band Paul Parrish; daughter, Teena Bradberry (Carl); son, Derek Parrish (Tia Beth), Carly Kelley (Bradley); grandchildren, Rylee, Darbi and Carlea Bradberry, Bro­die and Beaun Parrish, Mad­dox, Maverick, and Malcolm Kelley; Great granddaughter Harper, whom she loved very much; her sisters, Deb Rhodes (Steve), Don­na Lopez (Luis), Rhonda Posey (Michael); brother, Ricky Agee (Cindy); sis­ters, Donna Aycock (Bil­ly), Cathy Thompson (KT), Joni Dobbs (Billy), Angie Haddock (Bobby); brother Richard Agee Jr (Belinda); sisters in law, Faye Par­rish and Brenda Jefferies; brother in law James Par­rish; Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a very special best friend Diane Haddock.

Pallbearers will be Brad Rhodes, Matt Agee, Pea­nut Scott, Bradley Kel­ley, Jason Haddock, Kyle Haddock, Sterling Moore, and Phillip West.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday June 30, 2025 11:00AM-1:00PM with the funeral to follow at 1:00 PM at Morrison Funer­al Home, Central Heights. Burial will be at Central Heights Community Ceme­tery. Service will be officiat­ed by Brother Wayne Woods.

Jerry Lee

Morgan, 77

Jerry Lee Morgan of Mus­cle Shoals formally from Russellville died Wednes­day, June 25, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:30 am-12 pm at Colbert Memorial Chapel with a service to follow in the chapel. Bro. Roger Bond and Bro. Kenneth Bond will be officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Morgan served in the U.S. Army. He was a ser­geant and Squad leader in the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National De­fense Service Medal, Com­bat Infantryman’s Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Eric Morgan; parents, Bill and Avon Morgan; sis­ters, Bernice McCluskey and Patricia Vandiver.

He is survived by his broth­er, Billy Morgan (Dorothy); sister, Revae Weddington (Michael); brother-in-law, Ray Vandiver; several niec­es, nephews, and cousins.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Special thanks to Hel­en Keller Hospital palli­ative care nurses, Avean­na Hospice nurses, and nurses and staff at the Pearl Assisted Living.

Jerry Thomas Berryman, 77

Jerry Thomas Berryman, 77 of Decatur, passed away on June 23, 2025. Visita­tion will be Wednesday, June 25 from 2:00-3:00 at Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia. The memori­al service will immediate­ly follow in the chapel.

Jerry served in the Unit­ed States Army from Feb­ruary 28, 1969 to February 7, 1970, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He was awarded the Commendation Medal for his acts of hero­ism and meritorious service.

After his return home he drove countless miles in an 18-Wheeler for over 30 years. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren, tinker­ing with his computer and truck, buffering the latest drama with his brothers that was going on between his sisters, Alabama football, bird watching, old west­erns and keeping up with all things news related.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Ru­fus and Mary Berryman; brother, Rufus Berryman, Jr.; sisters; Betty Menne, Carolyn McCormick and Mary McCrary. He is sur­vived by his wife Brenda Berryman; son, Jerry Shane Berryman (Blanche); daugh­ter Kaynell Peden; brothers Odwyner Berryman and Bil­ly Jack Berryman; sisters, Lucy Rose and June Hannah (Steve); granddaughters, Sassy Campbell (Corey), Casey Payne, and McKen­na Berryman; grandsons, Kodi Seal (Megan) , Chase Capley (Whitney), Jackson Berryman, Jacob Berryman, and Jaydon Berryman; 11 Great-Grandchildren; Emma Kaye Payne, Easton Capley, Kyleigh Campbell, Adalynn Capley, Lillie Payne, Kori Capley, Brooklynn Camp­bell, Asher Seal, Chase Capley Jr, Kirby Capley, Hollin Seal and numer­ous nieces and nephews.

Greyson Wray Young

Greyson Wray Young, in­fant son of Alexia Duhamel and Jordan Young, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A memorial ser­vice will be held on Thurs­day, July 3, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Shane Swinney officiating.

Along with his parents, Greyson is survived by his grandparents, Blake and Danielle Duhamel, Jana and Jamie Black, and Amber An­derson and Ricky Young, Jr.; and great-grandparents, Te­resa and Steve Davis, Lisa Simpler, Rita and Ricky Young, and Angela Myrick.

Margarette Hindman Fos­ter, 94, Tuscumbia, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. A private service will be held for the family.

Margarette was preced­ed in death by her husband, Jack Foster, Sr.; mother, Trubie Brannon; and fa­ther, Lester Hindman.

She is survived by her children, Lee Landers (Roger) and Jack Foster, Jr. (Kathy); grandchildren, Jonathan Reid, Heath­er Compton (Andy), and Lauren Foster (Devin); six great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild..
