March 1 arrest reports

The following arrest reports were recorded by the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office:
¬ On Feb. 20, Justin G. James, 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container. According to Ryan Green’s report, while on patrol he ran a tag that was allegedly registered to a driver with an expired license. Upon conducting a traffic stop, the driver James was seen to have a recent trafficking charge, and in lieu of a K9 unit, consent was given to search the vehicle. The search yielded brass knuckles, an open bottle of rum and a marijuana joint.
