CCSO arrest reports for July 19
The following arrest reports were submitted by the Colbert County Sheriff’s Office:
— On June 30, Tyler D. George, 35, was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Hunter White’s report, he conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 72 for an expired tag that was also switched. The driver, George, was known to have outstanding warrants with CCSO. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded a rubber pipe containing burnt marijuana. Marijuana buds were located in George’s front pocket.
— On July 4, Brandon R. Nix, 42, was arrested and charged with two counts possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Hunter White’s report, he conducted a traffic stop for an expired tag on U.S. 43. The driver, Nix, had warrants with Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Nix allegedly refused multiple commands to exit the vehicle before being removed and placed in handcuffs. A search of the vehicle yielded a plastic baggie containing marijuana and three plastic baggies containing methamphetamine. Another container had six Diazepam tablets.
— On July 7, Jermey S. Crittenden, 53, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Luke Truitt, he made a traffic stop on a vehicle for failure to maintain lane. The driver was allegedly determined to have a suspended and expired license and an active warrant with Muscle Shoals. A search of the vehicle yielded a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine and a glass pipe.
