CCSO arrest reports for May 3

— On April 16, Rodney S. Ivey, 33, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, two counts possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Amanda L. A. Roden, 33, was arrested and charged with two counts possession of a controlled substance, drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Christopher Miller’s report, he allegedly saw a vehicle known to him as Ivey, and when attempting a traffic stop the subject fled before running off the road into a ditch. A small brown bag was observed being thrown from the vehicle. The vehicle wrecked on railroad tracks and the driver fled on foot before being apprehended later.

— On April 17, Stefano J. Williams, 42, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to distribute. According to Deputy Christopher Miller’s report, he conducted a traffic stop on a subject with multiple warrants with CCSO. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded 3.5 grams of heroin and 1 gram of methamphetamine.

— On April 26, Cheyenne M. Knapp, 25, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and second-degree possession of marijuana. According to Deputy Dakota Harper’s report, after making a traffic stop the smell of marijuana allegedly emanated from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded a bag containing a green leafy substance and a dollar bill with white powdery residue.

— On April 26, Gage T. Cook, 24, was arrested and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and public intoxication. According to Deputy Hunter White’s report, he allegedly observed a subject passed out behind the wheel of a running vehicle with an open door. The subject’s phone was lying on the ground in a puddle of urine. The subject had multiple open containers of beer in the center console and floorboard as well as a marijuana joint. Cook’s speech was slurred, and he was covered from head to toe in mud.

— On April 22, Timothy E. Thompson, 37, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Deputy Dakota Harper’s report, after traffic stop for an expired tag the driver was found to have an expired license. A search of the vehicle allegedly yielded a bottle of Gabapentin prescribed to someone else. Thompson admitted to drug paraphernalia in the center console, a red plastic straw with white residue. A bag containing a crystal like substance and other prescription pills were found.

— On April 24, Kenneth L. Bates, 62, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute. According to Deputy Carter Reed’s report, agents with the Colbert County Drug Task Force executed a warrant in the 600 block of Stewart Street. Bates was allegedly found with a large amount of cash, and a search of the residence yielded a small bag of crack cocaine, a small bag of marijuana, a glass jar containing marijuana, a bag containing crack cocaine and more U.S. currency.
